Nikita Madhyani brings together travel, craft, hospitality, and design, shaped by years spent living and working between New York and India. Her path began in interior design and naturally evolved into hosting immersive design retreats, built through long term relationships with artisans, workshops, and cultural spaces developed over time on the ground.
Today, Nikita curates intimate design retreats across India and beyond for those who love to travel with intention and engage deeply with place, culture, and craft. The next retreat takes place this April, traveling through Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, and Ranthambore.
Alongside retreats, she is developing lifestyle and fashion collections in close collaboration with artisans, guided by material, process, and care. After spending nine months in India working directly with makers and workshops, her first collections are currently in development and will be released soon.
This work is experience led rather than trend driven. Travel is immersive. Products are intentional. Culture is approached with respect and curiosity.

NM Studio was born from my deep passion for design, hospitality, and meaningful experiences. Drawing from my background in business and design, I’ve crafted a studio that celebrates creativity, collaboration, and the magic of human connection.
After a significant career change, I craved a path that felt true to my authentic self- one that combined my love for storytelling, culture, and community. NM Studio is the realization of that journey, where thoughtful design and curated experiences come together to inspire and transform.
Our bespoke design retreats, offering once-in-a-lifetime journeys, are just the beginning. With exciting projects underway, including the upcoming launch of our shop, NM Studio is a reflection of my vision to bring people closer to beauty, culture, and connection in everything we create.
